Defence Minister Rajnath Singh felicitated sportspersons from the Armed Forces who achieved success at the Asian Games. Athletes from the Army alone contributed significantly to India's medal tally, securing 20 medals. This impressive haul included six gold, eight silver, and six bronze medals. Their performance accounted for nearly 24 per cent of India's total medals, highlighting the significant role of the armed forces in national sporting achievements.
