Cornell 7 Defendant Winston Lee Linked To Former South Korean PM

Winston Lee, one of seven Cornell University students accused of gang rape, is the grandson of former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hong-koo. Lee Hong-koo served as prime minister from 1994 to 1995 and later as ambassador to the US from 1998 to 2000. Winston's father is an investment banker, and his mother leads a Korean women's association. The university has suspended Winston Lee for two years following the allegations. None of the defendants have been found guilty of any criminal offense to date.
