Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav stated that attempts to create controversy over the Congress' alleged demand for 200 seats will only consolidate the PDA coalition. He questioned who was behind objectionable posters targeting the SP-Congress alliance, suggesting the BJP was attempting to create a rift. Yadav believes that such misinformation and insults will ultimately strengthen the PDA, comprising Backward classes, Dalits, and Minorities. He also took a dig at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating he desires a chair to serve, not a throne.

समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने कहा कि कांग्रेस द्वारा 200 सीटों की कथित मांग पर विवाद पैदा करने की कोशिशें केवल पीडीए गठबंधन को मजबूत करेंगी। उन्होंने आपत्तिजनक पोस्टरों के पीछे कौन है, जो सपा-कांग्रेस गठबंधन को निशाना बना रहे हैं, इस पर सवाल उठाया और सुझाव दिया कि बीजेपी दरार पैदा करने की कोशिश कर रही है। यादव का मानना है कि ऐसी गलत सूचना और अपमान अंततः पिछड़े वर्ग, दलितों और अल्पसंख्यकों से बने पीडीए को मजबूत करेंगे। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ पर भी तंज कसा, यह कहते हुए कि वह सिंहासन नहीं, बल्कि सेवा के लिए कुर्सी चाहते हैं।
