Haryana CM Outlines Plan to Boost Tax Revenue to 15% of GSDP by 2047

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a strategy to increase the state's tax revenue from its current below 7% of GSDP to 10% by 2030 and 15% by 2047. This growth will be achieved by expanding the tax base and improving compliance, rather than raising tax rates. The collected revenue is earmarked for public infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Saini also extended the deadline for the 'Haryana One-Time Settlement Scheme, 2026' to to resolve legacy tax disputes.

हरियाणा के सीएम ने 2047 तक GSDP का 15% टैक्स रेवेन्यू बढ़ाने की योजना बताई

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने राज्य के टैक्स रेवेन्यू को मौजूदा GSDP के 7% से कम से बढ़ाकर 2030 तक 10% और 2047 तक 15% करने की एक रणनीति की घोषणा की। यह वृद्धि टैक्स की दरें बढ़ाने के बजाय टैक्स बेस का विस्तार करके और अनुपालन में सुधार करके हासिल की जाएगी। एकत्र किए गए राजस्व को सार्वजनिक बुनियादी ढांचे, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य सेवा के लिए अलग रखा गया है। सैनी ने पुराने टैक्स विवादों को सुलझाने के लिए 'हरियाणा वन-टाइम सेटलमेंट स्कीम, 2026' की समय सीमा भी बढ़ा दी है।
