A 20-year-old law student in Bhubaneswar, Soumya Ranjan Rath, was arrested again for allegedly attempting to run over three dhaba employees. This incident occurred just over a month after he was granted bail in a fatal rash driving case. While fleeing the scene, Rath reportedly caused multiple accidents, damaging seven motorcycles and injuring three riders. His medical examination confirmed he was driving under the influence of alcohol, and police are investigating a police identity card found in his vehicle.

भुवनेश्वर में 20 साल के लॉ स्टूडेंट सौम्या रंजन रथ को ढाबे के तीन कर्मचारियों को कार से कुचलने की कोशिश करने के आरोप में फिर से गिरफ्तार किया गया। यह घटना उसे जानलेवा लापरवाही से गाड़ी चलाने के मामले में जमानत मिलने के एक महीने बाद हुई। भागते समय, रथ ने कथित तौर पर कई दुर्घटनाएं कीं, जिससे सात मोटरसाइकिलें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गईं और तीन सवार घायल हो गए। उसकी मेडिकल जांच में पुष्टि हुई कि वह नशे में गाड़ी चला रहा था, और पुलिस उसकी गाड़ी में मिली एक पुलिस पहचान पत्र की जांच कर रही है।
