Delhi Police have filed a chargesheet in Saket court against seven individuals in connection with the alleged mob lynching of 54-year-old Manipuri musician Chongtham Vikram Singh. The incident occurred in September in southeast Delhi's Kilokari village after Singh objected to noise outside his house. He was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men, including a juvenile, after stepping out to dispose of waste. The chargesheet includes sections for criminal conspiracy, murder by a group, and house-trespass. Police are also examining a potential racial angle to the killing.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने 54 वर्षीय मणिपुरी संगीतकार चोंगथम विक्रम सिंह की कथित भीड़ द्वारा पीट-पीटकर हत्या के संबंध में सात व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ साकेत कोर्ट में चार्जशीट दाखिल की है। यह घटना सितंबर में दक्षिण-पूर्व दिल्ली के किलोंकरी गांव में हुई थी, जब सिंह ने अपने घर के बाहर शोर पर आपत्ति जताई थी। आरोप है कि कचरा फेंकने के लिए बाहर निकलने के बाद उन्हें एक किशोर सहित पुरुषों के एक समूह ने पीट-पीटकर मार डाला। चार्जशीट में आपराधिक साजिश, समूह द्वारा हत्या और घर में घुसपैठ की धाराएं शामिल हैं। पुलिस हत्या के संभावित नस्लीय कोण की भी जांच कर रही है।
