Karnataka Minister Sharan Prakash Patil lauded the sacrifices of leaders who unified Kannada-speaking regions into one state on Kannada Rajyotsava. He recalled the formation of Mysore State in 1956 and its renaming to Karnataka in 1973. Patil highlighted the effective implementation of five major guarantee schemes, including Gruha Jyothi, which has registered over 2.22 lakh beneficiaries in Yadgir district. Additionally, he announced a ₹100 crore super speciality hospital for Yadgir and other healthcare infrastructure upgrades.
