Uttar Pradesh CM Renames Bhadohi District As Sant Ravidas Nagar

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the district of Bhadohi, renowned for its carpet industry, will now be known as Sant Ravidas Nagar Bhadohi. This renaming honours the medieval saint Sant Ravidas Ji Maharaj, who is credited with uniting society. The announcement was made during an event where Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 1,340 crore.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने घोषणा की है कि कालीन उद्योग के लिए मशहूर भदोही जिले का नाम अब संत रविदास नगर भदोही होगा। यह नामकरण मध्यकालीन संत रविदास जी महाराज के सम्मान में किया गया है, जिन्हें समाज को एकजुट करने का श्रेय दिया जाता है। यह घोषणा एक ऐसे कार्यक्रम के दौरान की गई जहाँ आदित्यनाथ ने 1,340 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किया।
