Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is reportedly on track for a full recovery after collapsing during a reserve team training session on October 23. Assistant coach Aaron Danks stated that Kompany is in good spirits and progressing well. The club is using the international break to allow for his continued recovery. Kompany has been away from the club for two weeks, during which time Bayern has achieved several successes, including Harry Kane winning the Ballon d'Or and signing a contract extension.
