ISRO Chief Shares India's Space Journey Goals

ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan detailed India's space program evolution at IIT Delhi, highlighting the journey from needing foreign equipment to launching other nations' satellites commercially. He recalled how India independently developed cryogenic technology after it was denied by some countries in the 1990s. The successful Chandrayaan-3 mission, which achieved a soft landing on the lunar south pole, marked India as the fourth nation to land on the moon and the first to land near its south pole.

इसरो के चेयरमैन डॉ. वी. नारायणन ने IIT दिल्ली में भारत के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम के विकास पर बात की। उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे भारत अब दूसरे देशों के सैटेलाइट लॉन्च कर रहा है, जबकि पहले हमें विदेशी उपकरणों की ज़रूरत पड़ती थी। उन्होंने 1990 के दशक में क्रायोजेनिक तकनीक के विकास का भी ज़िक्र किया, जिसे कुछ देशों ने देने से मना कर दिया था। चंद्रयान-3 की चांद के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर सफल लैंडिंग ने भारत को चांद पर उतरने वाला चौथा देश और दक्षिणी ध्रुव के पास उतरने वाला पहला देश बना दिया।
