The arrests were made following credible information, leading to the seizure of the drugs and mobile phones. Preliminary investigations suggest the duo sourced the MDMA from a supplier named Stephen in Bengaluru for ₹42,000. They allegedly intended to sell the contraband at higher prices to students and software professionals in Hyderabad's Mokila, Kokapet, and Nanakramguda areas.
