A cooking gas cylinder explosion in Bengaluru has resulted in the tragic death of a 42-year-old woman, Lakshmamma, and one of her three-year-old twin daughters. The incident occurred three days ago in Vinayaka Layout, with police suspecting a gas leak over the preceding days. Lakshmamma's husband, three other children, and a neighbour also sustained severe burn injuries and are receiving treatment. The family had been residing in the rented house for 25 years.
