The Supreme Court has partially relaxed a bail condition for Meeran Haider, an accused in the 2020 Delhi riots case. The court reduced his mandatory police station appearances from twice a week to once a week, specifically on Saturdays. This modification comes ahead of his scheduled wedding on October 17. The court also exempted him from appearing on his wedding day and October 24. However, other restrictions, including a ban on attending public functions, remain in place until the trial concludes.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली दंगे के आरोपी मीरन हैदर की ज़मानत की एक शर्त में थोड़ी ढील दी है। कोर्ट ने कहा है कि अब उन्हें हफ़्ते में दो बार नहीं, बल्कि सिर्फ़ एक बार, शनिवार को पुलिस स्टेशन जाना होगा। यह बदलाव उनकी 17 अक्टूबर की शादी को देखते हुए किया गया है। कोर्ट ने शादी वाले दिन और 24 अक्टूबर को पेशी से भी छूट दी है। हालांकि, बाकी पाबंदियां, जैसे सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रमों में शामिल न होना, मुकदमे के अंत तक जारी रहेंगी।
