The 20-year-old Italian is reportedly recovering from a viral illness and feeling unwell. The FIA has excused him from mandatory media appearances as a precaution to allow him rest. Antonelli is on the verge of becoming Formula One's youngest champion, needing only to finish in the top nine on Sunday. Valtteri Bottas also reported feeling unwell as a precautionary measure.
