The Public Works Department will begin clearing jungle and wild grass at the proposed Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) campus in Dheerpur, marking the first on-ground activity. The Delhi government recently approved the project at an estimated cost of Rs 1,668.41 crore. Spread across nearly 20 hectares, the campus will eventually accommodate around 8,000 students. This development aims to expand AUD's capacity and provide modern academic infrastructure for its growing student body.
