IVF Babies May Face Higher Risk of Certain Health Issues

A recent study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology suggests that children conceived through IVF may have a higher risk of certain health problems later in life. Research found that IVF-conceived children had a higher quantity of LINE-1 DNA in their genome compared to naturally conceived children. These 'jumping genes' can move within the genome and potentially disrupt normal gene function, leading to mutations and genetic diseases.
