NMDC commissions 2 MTPA pellet plant in Chhattisgarh

State-owned NMDC has commissioned a 2 million tonne per annum pellet plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh. This plant is part of a ₹5,427-crore integrated project connecting its iron ore operations in Bacheli with the steel plant in Nagarnar. The project also includes a new iron ore processing plant and a 135 km slurry pipeline. This initiative strengthens NMDC's value chain presence and adds a new value-added product to its portfolio, allowing better utilization of iron ore fines.

सरकारी कंपनी एनएमडीसी ने छत्तीसगढ़ के नागरनार में 2 मिलियन टन प्रति वर्ष का पेलेट प्लांट शुरू किया है। यह प्लांट ₹5,427 करोड़ की एक एकीकृत परियोजना का हिस्सा है जो बछली में इसके लौह अयस्क संचालन को नागरनार में स्टील प्लांट से जोड़ता है। इस परियोजना में एक नया लौह अयस्क प्रसंस्करण संयंत्र और 135 किमी की स्लरी पाइपलाइन भी शामिल है। यह पहल एनएमडीसी की वैल्यू चेन में उपस्थिति को मजबूत करती है और इसके पोर्टफोलियो में एक नया मूल्य वर्धित उत्पाद जोड़ती है, जिससे लौह अयस्क फाइन का बेहतर उपयोग संभव होता है।
