Cooper Pratt, a 22-year-old shortstop, achieved a remarkable feat by setting a World Series rookie record with six consecutive hits. This accomplishment comes just seven months after he signed an eight-year, $50.75 million deal with the Milwaukee Brewers without having played an MLB game. Pratt was a sixth-round draft pick who received a $1.35 million signing bonus. His rapid ascent and performance in the World Series have validated the Brewers' significant investment in his potential.
