Maruti Suzuki reported a significant 36.91% year-on-year increase in domestic passenger vehicle sales for September 2026, reaching 1,81,838 units. This growth was driven by a 62% jump in utility vehicle sales and strong performance in passenger cars. Overall sales, including commercial vehicles and exports, rose to 2,36,013 units. Despite the robust sales figures, Maruti Suzuki's shares experienced a decline of over 5% intraday amidst a broader sell-off in auto stocks.
