Andhra Pradesh Daily Power Demand Rises To 290 MU, Says Energy Minister

Andhra Pradesh's daily electricity requirement has surged from 265 MU to 290 MU, according to Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar. To meet this growing demand, AP-Genco is increasing power generation, and additional electricity is being procured from other sources. The state government is investing approximately ₹6,000 crore in constructing new substations across Andhra Pradesh to strengthen the power network. The minister also alleged neglect of the power sector during the previous YSRCP government's term.

ऊर्जा मंत्री गोटीपाटी रवि कुमार के अनुसार, आंध्र प्रदेश की दैनिक बिजली की आवश्यकता 265 एमयू से बढ़कर 290 एमयू हो गई है। इस बढ़ती मांग को पूरा करने के लिए, एपी-जेनको बिजली उत्पादन बढ़ा रहा है, और अन्य स्रोतों से अतिरिक्त बिजली खरीदी जा रही है। राज्य सरकार बिजली नेटवर्क को मजबूत करने के लिए आंध्र प्रदेश में नए सबस्टेशन बनाने में लगभग ₹6,000 करोड़ का निवेश कर रही है। मंत्री ने पिछली वाईएसआरसीपी सरकार के कार्यकाल के दौरान बिजली क्षेत्र की उपेक्षा का भी आरोप लगाया।
