India's financial services sector saw deal values jump 129% to $7.3 billion in the July-September quarter, driven by a rebound in public fundraising and large mergers and acquisitions. The sector recorded 67 transactions, with the surge attributed to big-ticket deals like the IPOs of NSE and SBI Funds Management, and Bank of America's $1.9 billion investment in Jio Credit. Public market fundraising more than quadrupled, raising $4.3 billion, while M&A values rose 54% despite fewer transactions. However, private equity and venture capital investments declined significantly in both volume and value.
