Two Iranian Men Accused of Scouting UK Synagogue for Chlorine Bomb Plot

Two Iranian men, Salam Ahmadyan and Rahman Salehi, have been accused of conducting surveillance of a Manchester synagogue as part of a plot to bomb it. The Heaton Park Congregation Synagogue was targeted, with the men allegedly researching how to construct a homemade chlorine bomb under the direction of a third individual in Iran. Both defendants appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court and were ordered held pending a future appearance.
