Eight people from Madhya Pradesh, including four women, died when their bus veered off the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Kota and fell into a 15-foot drain. The accident, which occurred Saturday morning, also left 16 others hospitalized with injuries. The bus was carrying 25 family members from Bhopal on a religious tour to Rajasthan. Rescue operations were complicated by mud and water in the drain. Initial suspicions point to driver negligence or drowsiness as the cause.

कोटा के पास दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे पर एक बस के 15 फुट गहरे नाले में गिर जाने से मध्य प्रदेश के 8 लोगों की मौत हो गई, जिनमें चार महिलाएं शामिल थीं। यह हादसा शनिवार सुबह हुआ और इसमें 16 अन्य लोग घायल हो गए, जिन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। बस में भोपाल से 25 परिवार के सदस्य राजस्थान में धार्मिक यात्रा पर जा रहे थे। नाले में कीचड़ और पानी होने के कारण बचाव कार्य में दिक्कतें आईं। शुरुआती शक ड्राइवर की लापरवाही या नींद आने की वजह से हुआ है।
