Miscreants opened fire at the AK International Hotel in Hazaribag's Matwari locality late Thursday night, shattering its glass facade. Four rounds were fired, narrowly missing a security guard. A social media post later surfaced where gangster Rahul Dubey claimed responsibility and threatened coal traders. Police are verifying the post's authenticity and investigating the motive behind the attack. A team led by SP Amit Kumar has begun preliminary investigations at the scene.
