The United States has imposed sanctions on individuals and companies in India and Turkiye accused of facilitating Iran's oil exports and airlines. The US Treasury Department stated these measures target a network run by Suniel Kumar Sharma and Jaspreet Preeti Shahid, who allegedly issued fake certifications for sanctioned tankers. Additionally, Turkiye-based Fugo Ground Services was sanctioned for providing services to Iranian airlines. These actions are part of an effort to cut off oil revenue Iran uses for its war efforts.
