Bokaro's automobile dealers experienced a highly successful Dhanteras, with sales of cars, SUVs, and two-wheelers reaching an estimated Rs 50 crore. Over 1,000 vehicles were sold across various segments, indicating strong demand that is expected to continue through Diwali and Chhath Puja. Despite supply constraints, dealers managed to deliver over 400 cars and SUVs, with many customers receiving vehicles they had booked weeks in advance. The demand for electric scooters also saw a notable rise, driven by increasing petrol prices and the appeal of daily commuting savings.
