State-owned GAIL India reported a net profit exceeding ₹4,650 crore for the September quarter, more than doubling its earnings from the previous year. This significant profit surge was primarily driven by a strong performance in its natural gas marketing business, which is its largest revenue-generating segment. Revenue from operations also saw a substantial increase of 31.2% year-on-year, reaching ₹45,924 crore. The company navigated supply disruptions from the Middle East crisis by increasing spot sourcing and leveraging its diversified portfolio.

सरकारी कंपनी GAIL India ने सितंबर तिमाही के लिए ₹4,650 करोड़ से ज़्यादा का शुद्ध लाभ दर्ज किया है, जो पिछले साल की कमाई से दोगुना से भी ज़्यादा है। मुनाफे में यह बड़ी बढ़ोतरी मुख्य रूप से उसके प्राकृतिक गैस मार्केटिंग बिज़नेस के मज़बूत प्रदर्शन की वजह से हुई है, जो कंपनी का सबसे बड़ा राजस्व पैदा करने वाला सेगमेंट है। ऑपरेशंस से होने वाली आय में भी साल-दर-साल 31.2% की भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई, जो ₹45,924 करोड़ तक पहुँच गई। कंपनी ने मिडिल ईस्ट संकट से सप्लाई में आई रुकावटों को स्पॉट सोर्सिंग बढ़ाकर और अपने विविध पोर्टफोलियो का लाभ उठाकर संभाला।
