The forum seeks transparent record-keeping and public meetings to ensure reliable irrigation and protect the livelihoods of small farmers in the command area. युवा किसान मंच – कर्नाटक ने तुंगभद्रा परियोजना की सिंचाई सलाहकार समिति (ICC) को 10 प्रमुख मांगें सौंपी हैं। इन मांगों में जलाशय की भंडारण क्षमता, जल लेखांकन, सिंचाई योजना और परियोजना के समग्र शासन में सुधार पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है। मंच कमान क्षेत्र में छोटे किसानों के लिए विश्वसनीय सिंचाई सुनिश्चित करने और उनकी आजीविका की रक्षा के लिए पारदर्शी रिकॉर्ड-कीपिंग और सार्वजनिक बैठकों की मांग करता है। वे नवली बैलेंसिंग जलाशय जैसी महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं पर स्वतंत्र क्षमता सर्वेक्षण और अपडेट की भी मांग कर रहे हैं।
