Iran has significantly shifted its strategy to attack harder targets within the United Kingdom, including military bases, according to Britain's domestic spy agency MI5 chief Sir Ken McCallum. He stated that Iran is "keen on subcontracting its U.K. violence" using criminal proxies to intimidate oppositionists and Israeli sites, with a notable increase in aggression towards British Jewish communities. Over 50 Iran-linked arrests occurred in the UK in the past year due to these alleged activities. McCallum declined to detail specific military installations targeted, citing ongoing investigations into alleged plots.
