Ukraine has denied Elon Musk's assertion that its military violated Starlink's terms of service by using the civilian satellite internet for offensive drone strikes. A defence technology adviser to President Zelenskyy stated that existing restrictions made such offensive use impossible. Musk had claimed SpaceX had throttled Starlink in Ukraine, closing a loophole that allowed the civilian service to be used for offensive actions. This dispute arises amid reports of connectivity disruptions affecting Ukrainian drone operations and air defences, which officials say have since been resolved.
