यूट्यूबर ध्रुव राठी ने केंद्र सरकार पर आरोप लगाया है कि जंतर मंतर पर कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के नियोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले दिल्ली में "लगभग लॉकडाउन" लगा दिया गया है। उन्होंने मेट्रो स्टेशनों को बंद करने और मोबाइल इंटरनेट को निलंबित करने जैसे व्यापक सुरक्षा उपायों पर सवाल उठाया, यह कहते हुए कि यदि विरोध प्रदर्शन में कम लोगों के आने की उम्मीद थी तो ये उपाय अत्यधिक लगते हैं। राठी ने लोगों से 10 अक्टूबर को प्रदर्शन में भाग लेने का आग्रह किया। दिल्ली पुलिस ने इन प्रतिबंधों को कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए एहतियाती उपाय बताया, और पिछले विरोध प्रदर्शनों का हवाला दिया जिनसे चोटें और व्यवधान हुए थे।
