Madurai Corporation Accelerates Road Repairs, Completes 1,032 Damaged Roads

The Madurai Corporation has successfully completed the relaying of 1,032 damaged roads, covering a total of 149 kilometers. Administrative approval has been secured for the upcoming fiscal year to reconstruct an additional 1,169 roads spanning 169.43 kilometers at a cost of Rs 120.29 crore. The civic body has also initiated repair works for potholes and surface damage, completing 746 out of 940 identified spots in the first phase.

मदुरै कॉर्पोरेशन ने 1,032 खराब सड़कों को फिर से बनाने का काम पूरा कर लिया है, जो कुल 149 किलोमीटर तक फैली हैं। अगले वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए 120.29 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 169.43 किलोमीटर की अतिरिक्त 1,169 सड़कों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए प्रशासनिक मंजूरी मिल गई है। नागरिक निकाय ने गड्ढों और सतह की क्षति के लिए मरम्मत का काम भी शुरू कर दिया है, पहले चरण में पहचाने गए 940 स्थानों में से 746 को पूरा कर लिया है।
