Karnataka Anganwadis Get Solar Power Boost

Karnataka's Department of Women and Child Development is partnering with SELCO Foundation to install solar power in 1,900 anganwadi centres. The initiative, costing approximately ₹16 crore, aims to enhance basic facilities and create a better environment for early childhood care, education, and nutrition. This project focuses on remote and underserved areas, with 1,500 centres receiving DC systems and 400 AC systems.

कर्नाटक का महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, SELCO Foundation के साथ मिलकर 1,900 आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों में सोलर पावर लगाने जा रहा है। इस प्रोजेक्ट पर करीब ₹16 करोड़ खर्च होंगे। इसका मकसद बच्चों के लिए बेहतर सुविधाएं और माहौल तैयार करना है, खासकर दूरदराज के इलाकों में। 1,500 केंद्रों में DC सिस्टम और 400 में AC सिस्टम लगेंगे।
