Orient Electric Q2 Profit Jumps Two-Fold To Rs 27 Crore On 25% Revenue Rise

Orient Electric Ltd reported a significant two-fold increase in net profit, reaching Rs 27.06 crore for the September quarter of FY27, compared to Rs 12.06 crore in the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations saw a substantial rise of 25.15%, amounting to Rs 879.34 crore. This growth was driven by strong performance in both Electrical Consumer Durables and Lighting & Switchgear segments. Total expenses also increased by 23% to Rs 846.79 crore during the quarter.

ओरिएंट इलेक्ट्रिक लिमिटेड ने सितंबर तिमाही में पिछले साल की समान अवधि में 12.06 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 27.06 करोड़ रुपये का मुनाफा दोगुना होने की सूचना दी है। कंपनी के परिचालन से राजस्व में 25.15% की भारी बढ़ोतरी हुई, जो 879.34 करोड़ रुपये रहा। यह वृद्धि इलेक्ट्रिकल कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स और लाइटिंग एंड स्विचगियर दोनों सेगमेंट में मजबूत प्रदर्शन से प्रेरित थी। इस तिमाही के दौरान कुल खर्च भी 23% बढ़कर 846.79 करोड़ रुपये हो गया।
