Microsoft's September 2026 Patch Tuesday has set a new record by addressing a massive 974 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs). This includes two zero-day vulnerabilities that are already being exploited in the wild. The update also tackles 20 wormable bugs and a critical remote code execution flaw in Exchange related to Visio email. This extensive patch aims to bolster security against widespread cyber threats.
