Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer revealed she also received a ransom note related to the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case. Coffindaffer noted that while the demand was not from the abductors, it was still real. She flagged two disturbing details: the sender used her unused middle name and contacted her on a private personnel address, information not publicly available. Coffindaffer reported the emails to the FBI in April. She urged action against fraudsters, warning they could target other kind-hearted individuals.
