Speaking at an event in New York, Jaishankar noted that these four crises have deepened amidst various ongoing conflicts. He pointed out a paradox where competition between nations is increasing, yet their interdependence is also growing. Jaishankar emphasized that global challenges require a united and holistic approach due to the interconnected nature of world affairs.

विदेश मंत्री एस. जयशंकर ने कहा कि दुनिया अभी मुश्किल दौर से गुज़र रही है जहाँ कई सारी समस्याएं एक-दूसरे से जुड़ी हुई हैं। उन्होंने '4F' संकट के बारे में बताया, जिसमें खाना, ईंधन, खाद और फाइनेंस (वित्त) शामिल हैं। न्यूयॉर्क में एक कार्यक्रम में जयशंकर ने कहा कि ये चारों संकट कई चल रहे झगड़ों की वजह से और बढ़ गए हैं। उन्होंने एक विरोधाभास की ओर इशारा किया कि देशों के बीच मुकाबला तो बढ़ रहा है, लेकिन वे एक-दूसरे पर निर्भर भी ज़्यादा हो रहे हैं।
