Cafe chain Chaayos has issued an apology after a stray cat, a regular fixture outside its Bandra West outlet, was relocated. The incident angered animal lovers and regular visitors, prompting the company to admit a staff member moved the cat. A 20-member team joined the search for the animal on Monday night. Meditation coach Purnima Hoon Motwani raised the issue, alleging cafe employees had previously tried to remove the cat. The cat has since been found and adopted by Motwani.
