He stated this reason for submitting objections against their inclusion in electoral rolls in Vijayapura. Yatnal also accused Muslims of helping the Congress with fake votes for decades across the country. He defended Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar against criticism, calling him a great officer whose efforts ensured West Bengal remained part of India.
