Shekhar Suman has cancelled the finale of his show 'Shekhar Tonite' following the passing of Nana Patekar, who was slated to be the final guest. Suman recalled a recent phone call where Patekar praised the show and expressed his desire to appear. The actor-host also remembered their unreleased 1990 film 'Tadap', drawing a parallel between its fate and the now-unaired episode. Suman stated that Patekar was irreplaceable and he did not wish to invite anyone else to fill his spot, opting instead to honour the late actor.
