Seven Held In Foreign Groom Scam With Dubai

Seven fraudsters from Gujarat, including one from Mumbai, were arrested in Nagpur for allegedly conning women by posing as foreign grooms. Police seized assets and cash worth over Rs 18 lakh and are investigating the gang's hawala links to Dubai. The accused allegedly lured a teacher with promises of a gold business and UK interests, then demanded money by claiming customs issues. This operation followed a complaint from the teacher who was duped of Rs 20 lakh.

गुजरात के सात ठगों को, जिनमें मुंबई का एक व्यक्ति भी शामिल है, नागपुर में विदेशी दूल्हों का स्वांग रचकर महिलाओं को ठगने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। पुलिस ने 18 लाख रुपये से अधिक की संपत्ति और नकदी जब्त की है और दुबई से गिरोह के हवाला लिंक की जांच कर रही है। आरोपियों ने कथित तौर पर एक शिक्षिका को सोने के व्यवसाय और यूके के हितों के वादे से लुभाया, फिर सीमा शुल्क संबंधी समस्याओं का दावा कर पैसे की मांग की। यह कार्रवाई उस शिक्षिका की शिकायत के बाद हुई, जिसे 20 लाख रुपये का चूना लगाया गया था।
