Aung San Suu Kyi Meets Red Cross Representative

Ousted Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi made a rare appearance on August 3rd, meeting with a representative from the International Committee of the Red Cross. The 81-year-old Nobel laureate has been detained since the military coup in early 2021. Her whereabouts and condition have largely been unknown to the public and international officials since her detention.
