A fire ravaged a 3BHK flat on the eighth floor of an apartment complex in Bengaluru's Uttarahalli on Wednesday. Officials suspect an electrical short circuit caused the blaze, which was reported around noon. Four fire tenders responded quickly to control the flames, which were confined to the single flat in Brigade 7 Gardens. The extent of the damage is still being assessed. A resident questioned the initial response, noting that water from the ground floor could not reach the fire, which then spread rapidly.
