Cuddalore Launches Josh Teams To Boost TB Awareness And Prevention Efforts

Cuddalore District Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar has launched the Josh (Joint Squad for Health) team initiative to strengthen tuberculosis prevention and awareness. These teams will work across the district to expand TB elimination activities, reaching rural communities with vital health messages. The initiative supports the national goal of creating a TB-free India by 2030, employing advanced diagnostic methods like NAAT and outreach X-ray examinations. District and block-level committees have been formed to enhance community participation in combating the disease.

कुडलोर जिला कलेक्टर सिबी आदित्य सेंथिल कुमार ने टीबी की रोकथाम और जागरूकता को मजबूत करने के लिए जोश (जॉइंट स्क्वाड फॉर हेल्थ) टीम की पहल शुरू की है। ये टीमें जिले भर में टीबी उन्मूलन गतिविधियों का विस्तार करने के लिए काम करेंगी, और महत्वपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य संदेशों के साथ ग्रामीण समुदायों तक पहुंचेंगी। यह पहल 2030 तक टीबी-मुक्त भारत बनाने के राष्ट्रीय लक्ष्य का समर्थन करती है, जिसमें NAAT और आउटरीच एक्स-रे परीक्षाओं जैसी उन्नत नैदानिक ​​विधियों का उपयोग किया जाएगा। बीमारी से लड़ने में सामुदायिक भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए जिला और ब्लॉक स्तर की समितियों का गठन किया गया है।
