Bangladesh is reportedly exploring the possibility of joining a new military agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. This pact has been referred to as an "Islamic NATO" and is officially named the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement. Dhaka's potential inclusion in this defence alliance could signify a shift in regional geopolitical alignments and security cooperation among Muslim-majority nations.
