Bihar Govt Begins Scientific Effort to Restore Ancient Mundeshwari Temple

The Bihar government has initiated a scientific project to assess scattered architectural remains around the ancient Mundeshwari temple in Kaimur. The goal is to determine if these fragments can aid in reconstructing the shrine's original form in the Nagara architectural style. A committee comprising officials from art, culture, youth departments, ASI, and scholars has been formed for this purpose. The project began in September, with initial observations suggesting fragments date from various periods, including Gupta and post-Gupta eras.
