Bengaluru Inspector Gets Anticipatory Bail In Bribery Case

A special Lokayukta court in Bengaluru has granted anticipatory bail to police inspector Raghavendra in a bribery case. Raghavendra had allegedly evaded investigators for weeks after a Lokayukta raid at Yelahanka New Town police station. The raid followed allegations that Raghavendra and a constable demanded Rs 2 lakh from a complainant to close a case. The court noted that no tainted currency was recovered from Raghavendra and the prosecution alleged the bribe was received by the constable.

बेंगलुरु इंस्पेक्टर को रिश्वतखोरी मामले में अग्रिम जमानत मिली

बेंगलुरु की एक विशेष लोकायुक्त अदालत ने रिश्वतखोरी के मामले में पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर राघवेंद्र को अग्रिम जमानत दे दी है। लोकायुक्त की छापेमारी के बाद राघवेंद्र हफ्तों से जांचकर्ताओं से बच रहे थे। यह छापेमारी येलाहंका न्यू टाउन पुलिस स्टेशन में हुई थी। आरोप है कि राघवेंद्र और एक कांस्टेबल ने एक शिकायतकर्ता से केस बंद करने के लिए 2 लाख रुपये की मांग की थी। अदालत ने कहा कि राघवेंद्र से कोई रिश्वत की रकम बरामद नहीं हुई और अभियोजन पक्ष ने कहा कि रिश्वत कांस्टेबल को मिली थी।
