The incident occurred on Saturday in a village under the Dehlon police station. The infant's mother found her daughter injured after returning home, and the accused had fled the scene. The child has undergone a medical examination, and a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act. Efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding suspect.
