LA Times Urges Dodgers to Trade Shohei Ohtani If He Refuses to Quit Pitching

Times of India · sports

A Los Angeles Times columnist has called for the Dodgers to consider trading Shohei Ohtani if he insists on continuing to pitch. This suggestion comes after another injury-affected season and a disappointing playoff exit for the team. Despite strong hitting numbers, Ohtani's pitching campaign was cut short by injuries. His postseason performance was also underwhelming, contributing to the Dodgers' early elimination. The columnist argued that Ohtani's focus on pitching may have negatively impacted his hitting, suggesting the team needs a hitter, not a pitcher.
