YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused the NDA government of neglecting farmers affected by Cyclone Arnab and downplaying crop damage. He questioned the Chief Minister's reliance on CCTV footage for damage assessment, alleging the government prioritizes publicity over relief. Reddy stated preliminary reports indicate severe damage to nearly 12 lakh acres across several districts, impacting paddy, coconut, banana crops, and aquaculture farms. He also criticized the delay in electricity restoration and unpaid input subsidies from the previous year.
